The mission of Troop 17 is to empower the youth of Denville to become productive and responsible citizens. We achieve this by instilling the timeless values found in the Scout Oath and Law, with a special focus on respect for others, our community, and the world.

Our approach is to provide a dynamic and supportive Scouting program that nurtures both intellectual and physical growth. We develop leadership skills through hands-on training, dedicated mentorship, and opportunities for every Scout to lead. Our comprehensive outdoor program builds self-reliance, promotes a deep respect for the environment, and fosters a lifelong love of nature.
